Breath is Love

As a gay man growing up in Australia in the 90's I was imprinted with fear about what it was to be 'gay', to live with the 'choice' I had supposedly made.

Mine is a story of hope for gay men everywhere.

I was led to believe that my partial-deafness was a disability that would make it impossible for me to do the things I did.
I wasn't prepared to accept that vision.

I show how I re-wrote the story and go on to do all the things I was told I couldn't.

Social media and hyper-connectivity has left us feeling less connected despite infinite availability of connection.

I share how losing my hearing was the sign of something far worse, and how I restored a deeper sense of self, peace and freedom.

In scouring the world for answers about my hearing, I discovered that breath was hiding in plain sight of every healing modality I explored. Deep breathing is the greatest act of self-love we can offer ourselves, and I share how to do it well.
